Why the Ducks Charge Planning Fees for Certain Services
Every duck knows smooth sailing starts with a good plan. Our planning fees allow us to focus on creating the right trip for you — not selling what pays the highest commission. We believe travel recommendations should be based on your style, goals, and budget, not supplier incentives.

Personalized Itinerary Planning
$50 per day of travel
(Departure/travel days are not included.)
This includes personalized itinerary design, hotel and resort recommendations, cruise planning, activity suggestions, transportation coordination, and ongoing planning support.
More complex travel, including multi-country itineraries, destination weddings, large groups, and highly customized trips, may require additional planning fees based on the itinerary's scope and complexity.
Airfare Service Fee
Because airfare is often non-commissionable, some flight bookings may include a service fee equal to 5% of the base airfare (excluding taxes and fees). If commission is included in the airfare booking or route, no additional airfare service fee will be charged.
Additional Concierge Services
Because travel is about more than the destination — it’s about making every detail easier.
Visa Assistance
We’ll provide guidance and resources on obtaining required travel documentation.
Travel Insurance Coordination — Free
We strongly believe everyone should travel with insurance. We’ll recommend two to three coverage options for your review once you understand the included protections.
